It's that time of year again when we honor one of dance music's legacy cities with Whodat joining past guests of this Sunshine City meets Motor City experience — like Recloose, Kai Alce, the late Mike Huckaby, DJ Stingray, Keith Worthy, and LADYMONIX — in celebrating the best in Detroit dance music here at home. Terri McQueen, aka Whodat, has known and felt the healing power of music her whole life growing up in Detroit, Michigan. For well over a decade she’s worked to spread that spirit through her DJing and production. She shares her soulful and expansive mixes at home in Detroit and abroad in Canada, Japan, and Germany, inlcuding clubs, parties, and festivals like Tresor, ://about blank, A Club Called Rhonda, and Movement as well as online through platforms, with contributions to Resident Advisor and Dekmnatel's podcasts. Her unique and eclectic productions have appeared on labels like Uzuri, Sound Signature, Interdimensional Transmissions, Tresor, Workshop, and Meakusma. The sincerity and love she shares through sound is unforgettable, infectious, and undeniable, if you’re lucky enough to be present to the experience she gives. We'll be hosting the event in a new space for our parties, the intimate and tucked away speakeasy room at St. Pete creative arts destination The Factory.
