Hyperreality is an annual music festival taking place in an off-location in Vienna, focusing on creating club-related spaces for independent electronic and experimental music.
Hyperreality regards music as a transgressive art form that is able to embed sound, performance and architecture as equal parameters.
The festivalIt operates with the intention to present a local and international line-up built out of emerging forms of sound-related cultures and draws inspiration from the counter-cultural and historical roots of electronic music. Hyperreality intends to create an inclusive environment and wants to deconstruct the popular form of a festival by focusing on equality and care.
