We invited Herrensauna for another ecstatic night full of cutting edge techno, that goes hard and sexy and marries the grit and glam of Berlin’s nightlife. CEM and Sedef Adasi join forces for a rare back to back on our Blitz Floor alongside MCMLXXXV, Slim Soledad and Sunil Sharpe on our BLITZ floor. Our plus floor is dedicated to break-laden and trippy grooves, courtesy of Børt and DHC!
CEM and Sedef Adasi share an equally idiosyncratic approach to DJing and are established artists in their own right. We can’t wait to see where their rare back to back will lead us! One thing’s for sure though: the blend of CEM’s rough yet smart, breakbeat & punk-influenced Techno and Sedef Adasi’s colourful and kaleidoscopic design of club music will be a set to remember, mark our words! Among Ireland’s prime DJs is Sunil Sharpe, a true turntable wizard and a great match to the sonic Herrensauna formula. His relentless onslaught of gritty, industrial-hued Techno is underlined by a fine and acquired sense of groove, that places the funk in the spotlight!
Brazil-born Slim Soledad brings more ferocious and inciting, brute Techno via Baile-Funk & Experimental Club sounds to the table, while Herrensauna’s founding member MCMLXXXV shines with a charmingly odd blend of EBM, Electro, Trance und Industrial to create a unique and immersive sonic experience.
The journey continues on our PLUS Floor with Børt’s UK-schooled sound and DHC decidedly queer and fierce grooves! While Børt aka Robert Neuwirth is a late bloomer when it comes to DJing, starting out with just two turntables in his bedroom, working his way through Vienna’s club-scene, Dominik Humeres Correa draws on their deep-rooted knowledge of dance & dance music history, that shines through in their infectious and compelling sets, spanning the seductive shades of house, trance, progressive and much more for an aphrodisiac design of music.

CEM & Sedef Adasi zeichnen sich jeweils durch einzigartige, eigene Stile aus, auf deren Aufeinandertreffen in der Booth wir besonders gespannt sind. Wo genau die Schnittmenge zwischen CEM’s kantigen und smarten, Breakbeat-lastigen Techno mit Punk-Attitüde und Sedef Adasi’s bunten und schillernden, Clubculture-übergreifenden Approach liegt? Sunil Sharpe ist das Techno- und DJ Aushängeschild der immergrünen Insel Irland und ein wahrer Zauberer an den Turntables, welcher der Herrensauna gut steht. Er spielt grobkörnigen Techno mit subtilen Industrial-Einflüssen, aber vor allem Fingerspitzengefühl und Sinn für Rhythmus, immer mit dem Funk im Fokus! Eine erfrischend eigenwillige Mischung aus EBM, Electro, Trance und Industrial spielt MCMLXXXV, einer der treibenden Köpfe hinter der Herrensauna, wohingegen Slim Soledad mit einem wahrlich furiosen Cocktail aus hartem Techno, Baile-Funk & Experimental Club Sounds reichlich Stoff für exotherme Reaktionen liefern wird. Auf dem PLUS-Floor geht die Reise weiter: Børt aus Wien überzeugt mit einem UK- und Breakbeat-lastigen Aufguss der Herrensauna-Formel, wohingegen DHC aus Berlin mit einem weitreichenden, und dezidiert queeren Verständnis von Dance Music die Menge hypnotisieren wird.
