Dalmata Daniel, a Budapest-based music label, was founded in the summer of 2015. Its debut vinyl release, featuring Dutch electro legend DJ Overdose, emerged in early 2016. Since then, the label has curated a diverse catalog, including several EPs and splits on vinyl, alongside a selection of LPs released on cassettes and vinyls. Additionally, they have curated digital compilations too mainly fundraising for a good cause. In addition to featuring a diverse range of electronic club music, their releases reflect the eclectic nature of their sound and music taste, embodying their distinct vision and creative approach across their catalog.
Their imprint has gained support by world-class Djs like Helena Hauff, Elena Colombi and Lena Willikens.
Collaborating with acclaimed producers such as Intergalactic Gary & Pasiphae, Maelstrom, Roberto Auser, The Hacker, Schwefelgelb, Imre Kiss, Norwell, J. Mono, CT Kidobó, Cardopusher, Teslasonic, Oliva, among others, Dalmata Daniel has consistently pushed boundaries in electronic music.
Their latest split release features the talents of Colombian Filmmaker and Athens-based Petros Spatharos. This milestone is being celebrated at Six d.o.g.s., marking another chapter in Dalmata Daniel's vibrant journey.
Dalmata Daniel is run by three friends: Daniel Jani is the visual art director, responsible for creating all artwork associated with the label's appearances; Gergő Orbán (aka Dalmata Gergő); and Max Sinclair, who holds the role of executive producer. Max oversees curation, A&R, day-to-day operations, and organizes the label's gigs.
