アムステルダム発の日本人主宰レコードレーベル Sound Of Vast がホストするパーティー Wicked。3年目を迎える今回はアムステルダムが生んだ新世代のスター Kamma & Masalo を招聘し開催。
ジャンルを自由に横断しながらハイエナジーを巻き起こすプレイで Dekmantel や GALA、Rainbow Disco Club をはじめ世界中を飛び回る人気 DJ デュオが来日する。
2023年は自身らの主催パーティー Brighter Days の名を冠したコンピレーションアルバムを Rush Hour から発表。大ヒットを記録した Discotheque - "For Your Love (Kamma & Masalo Extended Mix)"や 細野晴臣 & 寺田康彦 - "Turquois” をはじめ秀逸な選曲でディガーとしての能力の高さをいかんなく発揮し、人気を確固たるものとした。
迎えうつのは Wicked 初登場を果たすハウスミュージックコレクティブ CYK 。2023年も数多くのフェスティバルやパーティーに出演し、破竹の勢いでステージを登り続けてきた彼らが3時間のオープニングセットを披露する。
メインフロアを2組で構成するのは今回が初めてとなる。彼らのロングセットから放たれるポジティブさと爆発力をダンスフロアで体感してほしい。1年ぶりに Wicked に出演する VJ Manami の演出にも注目だ。
WOMB LOUNGE は Monkey Timers と Kikiorix による貴重な2人会が実現。国内のディスコ / ハウスシーンを代表する彼らがダンスフロアをじっくり構築し、濃密な一晩を演出する。
VIP FLOOR は国際色豊かな3組の DJ が出演する。NTS Radio のレジデンシーを持ち、マルチに活躍する Yuka Mizuhara、東京拠点のパーティー MOVE ムーブ を主催し、アジアまで活動の幅を広げている Al Jones 、6人組の新世代コレクティブ Million Dollar Sounds が登場。
今回も全3フロア、世代間が交差するラインナップが集結した。ダンスミュージックへの歓喜で満たされる至高の夜に期待してほしい。
The Amsterdam-based Japanese-led record label Sound Of Vast hosts the party Wicked, now in its third year. This edition invites Amsterdam's next-generation stars Kamma & Masalo.
This popular DJ duo, known for their high-energy sets that freely traverse genres, has made waves at Dekmantel, GALA, Rainbow Disco Club, and beyond. In 2023, they released a compilation album titled after their own party series, Brighter Days, via Rush Hour, featuring hits like Discotheque's "For Your Love (Kamma & Masalo Extended Mix)" and Haruomi Hosono & Tatsuro Yamashita's "Turquoise," showcasing their impeccable selection skills and solidifying their popularity.
Welcoming them are the house music collective CYK, making their Wicked debut. After a year of relentless presence at numerous festivals and parties, they'll present a three-hour opening set. This is the first time the main floor will be shared by these two acts, promising a night filled with positivity and explosive energy. Also, look forward to the production by VJ Manami, returning to Wicked after a year.
The Womb lounge sees a rare duo performance by Monkey Timers and Kikiorix, leading figures in Japan's disco/house scene, who will intricately construct and enrich the dancefloor experience.
The VIP floor features an international lineup of DJs: Yuka Mizuhara, with a residency on NTS Radio and a diverse portfolio; Al Jones, who expands his reach to Asia with the Tokyo-based party MOVE; and the new-generation collective Million Dollar Sounds.
With all three floors offering a lineup where generations intersect, expect a sublime night filled with the joy of dance music.
