Since her debut EP on Optimo Music in 2019, Matisa has released music with Permanent Vacation, Biologic Records, Dischi Autunno, Butter Sessions, On Loop and Steel City Dance Discs. 2023 saw the release of Matisas most successful EP’s to date: Tongue on Peggy Gou’s imprint GUDU Records and Cuddle EP on SOS Records.
Gaining support from Skepta’s Mas Tiempo, Ben UFO, Jennifer Cardini, Gerd Janson, Peach, Nicola Cruz, Mall Grab, Shanti Celeste, Sally C, Midland, Carista, Moxie, Eris Drew and Peggy Gou amongst many others, is all testament to her infectious energy.
Hailing from down South, a diverse upbringing, contributed to Annika’s love of different genres. Exposure to different musical communities from a young age further cultivated and solidified a lifelong relationship with sound. Get ready for tunes infused with her adoration for house, bass, cosmic vibes, and enigmatic disco rhythms, which will ignite your dancing spirit.
SAM Futura’s mixes are sonic explorations of 90s house, rave nostalgia and timeless energizing soul. Music is an outlet for this introspective artist to connect and communicate with listeners while sharing his mysterious and daring side. Sam FUTURA has played the region’s powerhouse venues including Beijing’s Zhao, Taipei’s Pawnshop and Saigon’s The Observatory, as well as local festivals Equation, Karma Konkrete and Sónar Hong Kong.
