- LIGHTSPEED PRESENTS: K-LONE // ZURI // 10/05/24. It’s a biggie. On the 10th May, we’ll be bringing none other than K-Lone and Zuri down to YES Basement for another huge night of toe tapping and knee jerking fresh off the back of our sold out 2nd birthday bash. // Owner of Wisdom Teeth and with a gargantuan portfolio of diverse and industry-acclaimed productions and mixes, K-Lone is never one to miss. Having borne witness to a bordering ethereal vinyl set in the sunshine of Gottwood’s main stage in 2022, we could not be happier to have him onboard with us for this night. Expect a little less vitamin D, but just as much magic. K-Lone has performed to all corners of the world in recent years, typically blending records spanning house, UKG, funky, dubstep, footwork and every facet of goodness in-between. If you haven’t already, go and check out his mixes and productions for a flavour of what’s to come. Any one of his monthly shows on Rinse FM alongside Wisdom Teeth co-owner Facta will be an ear-tickling place to start, while his second album, Swells, is another big favourite of ours; a smooth 10-track electronic experience. Stick some big headphones on and immerse. // We’re delighted to also be bringing the incredibly talented, San Sebastien-born and Manchester-based Zuri, down to the basement on the 10th. Zuri has gathered serious momentum of recent, making waves at notorious parties such as KeepHush at the Loft back in September, and gracing line-ups with the likes of Joy Orbison, Blawan, Jeff Mills and 1-800 Girls. Known for laying down a range of percussion-heavy stompers and deep electro gems, miss Zuri at your peril. // Tickets are now LIVE on RA in the usual spot. Get involved ASAP while they’re cheaper.
