- Bodily's Sunday Sanctuary offers a haven for music and creative enthusiasts seeking more embodied and connected experiences. We'll start the day priming our bodies with a Breath-Body workshop 1PM to 3PM, followed by a smoked-out listening lounge immersed in cascading fabrics, with DJ sets and live electronic performances from Kincaid, Madison Willing, re:ni and more. ༄ Massage and reflexology treatments available throughout the day to complete the full bodily experience ༄ BREATH-BODY WORKSHOP (1PM - 3PM) An intimate and awakening exploration of the body-breath connection. The session will include body mapping, breathing through the seven diaphragms, and eventually inviting in gentle intuitive movement. The theme for this workshop will centre around Continuums—a concept embodying the perpetual cycle of gradual change, evolution, and ongoing transformation, mirroring the nature of life itself. The workshop will run from 1PM to 3PM before the music programming. This session will be enhanced by a sound-system, with an intuitive DJ set following and responding to the energies of the session. MUSIC LINEUP (3PM - 9PM) BROKEN DIALECT Broken dialect is a collaborative DJ duo by FYI Robyn and Kincaid. IN REVERSE (live) In Reverse is a collaborative duo created by Madison Willing and Athena Varosio specialising in live electronica for immersive performance. Described as "a soundtrack without images" In Reverse explores human expression and sonic ritual through manipulating live audio and electronic synthesis. RE:NI With shows at institutions like Panorama Bar, De School, and Fabric, Re:ni very quickly established a creative identity as a selector with razor-sharp taste, versatility, and selections in her sets, traversing across BPMS and styles while always seamlessly maintaining a coherent narrative. Affiliated with releases and/or DJ bookings with Ilian Tape and Timedance, Re:ni has become a fixture in the UK music landscape. More than just breakbeat techno slammers, Re:ni will show us her ambient, low-tempo beats, dub-infused, and experimental side for Bodily on 28th April. Re:ni also has a monthly residence on NTS radio alongside Laksa, with whom she also runs the esteemed south London label and party, re:lax. SAMSON A.K Samson A.K has long worked behind the curtain of London club music; record stores, writing, curating, DJing, and running parties. He’s one of Terra Obscura residents, and he recently stepped out as a producer, with his debut release 'Tape 1' on Jon K & Elle Andrews' label MAL Recordings. Salmon has held down genre-spanning residencies on both Balamil and Noods, inviting an intriguing and eclectic lineup of guests to his shows. His set’s elegantly glide through left-field flavours of techno, bass, ambient and everything in between. SLUG (live) SLUG is a sound and performance duo from siblings Esmé and Madi. They’ve been working together to develop a project that explores the intersections of dance, performance, clubbing and sound art. Esmé creates work under the alias Ex.sses and has released music with TT, Cherche Encore, Earful of Wax, Caninal and more. Madi is a choreographer, dancer and artist who has most recently developed a work for the Resolutions Festival at The Place. MIA SYLVIAA (Visual Artist) Mia is a textile artist specialising in natural dyes and immersive fabric installations. Her textiles, hand-dyed using plants, flowers, food waste, and scrap metal. We're elated to be working with @MiaSylviaa to soften the space into a holistic sanctuary. ABOUT BODILY Bodily is a hybrid event concept for music enthusiasts in the pursuit of embodied experiences. We create immersive experiences that intertwine high-quality sound, art and embodiment workshops. By inviting attendees to immerse their senses on a journey of sonic and bodily exploration, we aim to facilitate a deeper understanding of the intricate interplay between sound, body, and elevated consciousness, therefore fostering a deeper connection to oneself and the surrounding environment.
