- Jochem Paap (the Rotterdam artist owes the nickname Speedy J to his DJ skills) is unanimously considered to be one of the first techno producers to come from the Benelux. The STOOR label boss is considered to together with people like Laurent Garnier, Aphex Twin and Richie Hawtin, have helped raising the genre just after it had escaped the Detroit delivery room. On April 27th, we close out the month’s program our PRXMTY weekender featuring artists like Euromantic’s Repro, RSO resident Xiorro, Netherlands’ Laura Van Hal and many more on the ROBUS floor along with Fast Forwards’ Ezy, Copenhagen’s Kasper Marott and BunkerBauer’s Ida Engelhardt on the SUMME floor.
