Kitbuilders are an electro-duo (singer Ripley, keyboardist Benway) from Cologne, Germany. Their style is a mixture of Electro, New Wave and IDM. Benway played in the Band "Les Immer Essen" (together with Joerg Burger; signed to EMI) before he founded Kitbuilders in 1997 with Ripley. They are influenced by bands like Suicide and Chris & Cosey. Kitbuilders (and acts like ADULT.) pioneered the Electroclash/ Electropunk-movement. Kitbuilders released on labels like Electrecord, World Electric, Ersatz Audio (the label of ADULT.) Television, Breakin´ Records (the label of DMX Krew), Vertical, Art Of Perception, Play It Again Sam many more. Kitbuilders received Radio airplay from DJs like Dave Clarke, Laurent Garnier, DJ Hell, Larry Tee, John Peel, Andrew Weatherall (they were signed to his agency Haywire) and others. Kitbuilders worked with artist Eric Parnes (music for an installation in New York) and contributed a track to the soundtrack of the Loveparade-movie Be Angeled.The Kitbuilders album “You Trashed My Tracks” (2013, Vertical / Kompakt) features remixes by Terrence Dixon, Bolz Bolz, Bob Humid, Ascii Disko, Falko Brocksieper, Keith Tenniswood aka Radioactive Man, Salz and others. In 2020 they contributed to the Carebots compilation (Bass Agenda Recordings). Kitbuilders played gigs in London, New York, San Francisco, Oslo, Berlin, Madrid, Brussels, Helsinki, Istanbul, Tel Aviv and on Festivals like Roskilde-Festival, Sónar, Arvika, Benicassim, Fusion Festival, Eurosonic, Dedbeat Weekender and in clubs like Tresor, Fabric (they also contributed a track for the Fabric 8 compilation), Distillery, The Egg and many more. They also had the opportunity to remix artists such : Man Parrish / Lectronix, Radioactive Man / Keith Tenniswood, Warren Suicide, Christian Morgenstern, Sold Out and many more.

Dani Cosmic or Dani in his world character with Martian origins, autistic, reveals his private thoughts while exaggerating or introducing second degree in order to exorcise the abuse of worry. It's like a path in the shape of cobwebs woven with thoughtful scraps of debris, everything that glows in the dark… By sharing her texts, very direct and social at the same time, Dani Cosmic likes to act as social-cosmic therapy in a festive setting. Nothing like coming to celebrate your lost spirit in music. Otherwise in life the only thing she really loves deeply is music, writing and singing, the rest she finds boring, although she also loves everything related to the image because it is a bit of a narcissistic bitch. Here we execute with frankness it is a question of “doing” and spilling our guts.

Producer, artistic director and dj, Aldo (ex Daryl) has been evolving in the musical sphere for many years. Very young, he made his first steps in the underground scene of Brussels with his first residency at 17 years old. Then, he performed in most of the clubs and parties of the Belgian capital such as the Libertine Supersport, Fuse, Mr Wong, Les Halles Saint-Géry, Vert Pop, Pias Night, … He also toured in international places such as Wanderlust in Paris of The Villa in Oslo.For Many years, Aldo managed the artistic and cultural direction of the Halles Saint-Gery, where he aims at diffing and promoting the local scene on a large scale. Within this role, he curated a wide selection of Dj’s for Bobbi Brewery, a localy brewery that support artistic talents. He is the autor of an E.P. on Higher Ground Record and of serval remixes on European Labels.

Fernando Wax, a Spaniard by adoption from Brussels, has been immersed in music since the '80s, when he hosted a punk show called "Les Z'inomables" on the fledgling "Radio Panik" pirate radio station in Brussels, as well as importing records from the crème de la crème of the alternative scene, which he scoured in several of the Belgian capital's best-known record shops. He is known in the electro world for having run the Wax Club, infusing his club with his own style, often at odds with the rest of the current electronic scene. He has mixed with the likes of Mount Sims, Robert Babicz, Anja Schneider, Alexander Maier, Ripperton, Water Lilly... While defending melodious electro-waves in clubbing, he has returned to his first musical love of the 80s (the two styles are intimately linked in his opinion), creating the famous "Ce N'est Pas De La Couille, Voici La New-Wave" evenings, mixing the classics with today's flourishing Darkwave scene. In the same vein, he launched the WAVES show on vibration.fm, which he has been hosting for the past 8 years. He also runs the Brussels-based RED MAZE RECORDS label, with a dozen releases in its catalog.
