Originally from New York, Gina Turner immersed herself in the NYC House scene before moving to Boston, where she hosted radio shows on 88.9 WERS and 99.9 WECB, becoming a fixture in the local club scene. In 2006, she made a pivotal move to Los Angeles, forming the DJ duo STACCATO and launching the afterhours movement MAJOR. Gina's influence extended globally, performing in cities like Oslo, Brighton, and Paris, garnering recognition from renowned producers like Laidback Luke and Zoo Brazil. Notably, her collaboration with Laidback Luke in 2009 led to the formation of the production duo "Nouveau Yorican," known for their Latin-inspired shuffle tech house. With releases like "BANG IT" on Tiesto's label BLACK HOLE RECORDINGS, Gina Turner continues to shape the electronic music landscape, promising more impactful tracks as STACCATO and in her highly anticipated solo endeavors.
