Being an integral part of Berlin's techno scene, Discrete Circuit has made a significant impact as a promoter, music producer, DJ, and label owner. Over the last decade, he founded and curated the party AWAY, which has earned a reputation as a must-attend event series renowned for its vibrant atmosphere and exceptional lineups with regular heavyweights and residents such as Moodymann, Omar-S, Move D, Richie Hawtin, Mark Broom, and Axel Boman.
With early releases on labels such as DVS1's Mistress Recordings, Delsin, and Darko Esser's Wolfskuil Records, Discrete Circuit recognised the need for his own dedicated imprint to unleash his techno-focused productions, ultimately establishing Astray Records in 2017. Throughout four original EPs, he demonstrated his versatility and artistic range from gloomy techno tracks with experimental notes ("Road Force") to nostalgic Detroit funk ("Observer EP") to straightforward bangers ("Control Zero EP").
Shaped by the creative vibrancy of Berlin, the soul of Detroit, and UK's dark aesthetics, he draws inspiration to keep forging his own sonic identity. Driven by an unparalleled open-minded vision, Discrete Circuit remains committed to pushing the electronic landscape forward.
