High Note’s Space 2 transforms into an *info-den* once again on Thursday March 21 to welcome dub prodigy Mad Professor (UK) for an ‘In Conversation + Dub Session’.
Mad Professor rose to prominence during the 80’s and ‘90s with his groundbreaking dub remixes and productions, largely with grace to his self-built mixing desks he started crafting in the ‘70s. Now he is known for his advanced studio techniques and creative dub effects he uses for crafting immersive, otherworldly soundscapes. Keenly, his South London-based studio Ariwa Sounds is revered as a hub of cutting-edge dub production.
Over the decades Mad Professor has collaborated with countless reggae and dub artist across the decades, with knowledge we’ll dig into in this In Conversation hosted by Stick Mareebo.
Plus, Mad Professor will be bringing a rig in and grace us with a live session, demonstrating how he throws it down in the studio and giving us a glimpse into his creative process.
