- Welcome to Standard Time's first customer appreciation night! We invite you to be our guests for the debut of re:ni alongside the return of Miasalav and Ceremonies! Free entry all night with RSVP - further details below! Growing up listening to drum & bass and dubstep, re:ni’s sets join the dots between her dub-wise influences and contemporary bass-driven techno, electro, jungle and breaks. With debuts at Panorama Bar, De School and fabric this year and a monthly slot on NTS Radio with Laksa, she brings a UK sensibility to the dancefloor, bouncing across bpms with a record bag stacked full of deep basslines and broken rhythms. re:ni was selected out of thousands of applications for the inaugural NTS WIP 2019, a programme aimed to provide mentoring and career development for eight artists. MIASALAV is a Toronto-based underground dance music selector specializing in a plethora of dance-centric genres. She is a co-founder of underground dance event collective Reconstructed Club and is a resident with techno-leaning event collectives Combo Breaker and SOAK. She also hosts Salavate radio, a radio show highlighting femme, queer, and POC djs that specialize in underground dance music on Toronto’s community online radio - ISO radio. Outside of making regular appearances on n10.as, and showcases on Rinse, Ceremonies has been a fixture of the Toronto scene where she’s been sharing the decks with techno royalty since 2018.
