A grande richiesta Efìmera Dance Room è lieta di presentare il Chiostro della Musica del Giardino Bellini di Catania.
A villa, come i catanesi chiamano questo splendido giardino risalente al settecento, è il più antico parco della città ed è anche il suo polmone principale. Fu commissionato dal principe di Biscari, Ignazio Paterno Castello, secondo la moda dell’epoca, ovvero quella barocca, ricca di siepi, sculture, labirinti e giochi d’acqua.
Il Chiostro della Musica di Villa Bellini, realizzato nel 1879 in stile moresco, venne utilizzato fino al 1985 dalla banda musicale per l'esecuzione di concerti. Nel 2016 è stato restaurato e riconsegnato al suo vecchio splendore.
Alla fine dei lavori fu apposto un busto del compositore Vincenzo Bellini, il quale diede il nome alla villa, fu costruito il chiostro dei concerti sulla collina nord e realizzato il padiglione cinese, il quale sovrasta il parco stesso dalla cima della collina.

PERFORMANCE
Durante la Boiler Room si esibiranno 7 Artisti Live dalle 14:00 alle 21:30 per una durata complessiva di 8 ore, presso il Chiostro della Musica del Giardino Bellini.

By popular demand Efìmera Dance Room is pleased to present the Chiostro della Musica of the Bellini Garden in Catania.
A villa, as the people of Catania call this splendid garden dating back to the eighteenth century, is the oldest park in the city and is also its main lung. It was commissioned by the prince of Biscari, Ignazio Paterno Castello, according to the fashion of the time, i.e. the baroque one, full of hedges, sculptures, labyrinths and water features.
The Cloister of Music of Villa Bellini, built in 1879 in Moorish style, was used until 1985 by the musical band for concerts. In 2016 it was restored and returned to its former glory.
At the end of the works, a bust of the composer Vincenzo Bellini was placed, who gave his name to the villa, the concert cloister was built on the north hill and the Chinese pavilion was built, which overlooks the park itself from the top of the hill.

PERFORMANCE
During the Boiler Room, 7 Live Artists will perform from 2.00pm to 9.30pm for a total duration of 8 hours, at the Chiostro della Musica of the Bellini Garden.
