- Hyper K returns for its 2 year anniversary with DJ Plead’s Bay Area debut and a visit from Lara Sarkissian. DJ Plead stands out in contemporary club music for his dynamic, intricate productions that are deftly infuse with his Lebanese heritage. His cunning approach to rhythm has been turning heads since several landmark releases on some dance music’s finest imprints: Livity Sound, Nervous Horizon & AD 93. His own a rising label, Sumac, sports notable releases from Logic1000 & Lavurn (Cassius Select). Those who have witnessed a DJ Plead set know his penchant for building tension and letting loose bursts of energy that give us the heads-down, vibed-out, just-fucking-feeling-it club moments that keep us coming back for more. We are also thrilled to host Lara Sarkissian, an electronic musician, DJ and broadcaster currently based in Los Angeles. Sarkissian co-founded experimental electronic dance platform CLUB CHAI, and has also released with labels Tresor, Knekelhuis, and All Centre. Her expansive and energetic selections round out a lineup where anything is possible. Free Palestine.
