We are excited to bring you the second iteration of Play It Forward, which is a new event series offering DJs something a little different from the standard show you may be familiar with.
Play It Forward is all about DJs supporting each other and helping each other succeed. There will be 2 sets of decks setup in a face to face configuration on the dance floor. For the first 2 hours of the night, we will be doing a “Mix & Match” set. To put it simply, this means there are open decks available for all you DJs out there to plug-in, and tag-in with the moms bassment crew. It may sound confusing at first, but don’t worry, once you come to one of these you’ll get a feel for how it works and get your chance to showcase your track selection and mixing skills.
We also have quite a very special guest this time around… HeartWerk.
Tulsa, Oklahoma based artist HeartWerk has established himself as an active part of the electronic music scene. Drawing influence from house, disco, techno, and beyond, HeartWerk is straightforward in capturing atmospheres through his brand of “moody house music”, and by being hard-at-work in building an electronic community. With releases on True Romance, The Basement Discos, Low, Critique, LoDisco and more. With a love for music and an obsession with making people move on the dance floor. HeartWerk is known to create an ecstatic atmosphere for party goers and music heads alike.

9pm-11pm is where the vibe for the night gets set. These opening slots are some of the most difficult timeslots, so bring your best opening tunes for a groovy night to show us how it’s done.
