- Techno rave daddy visits New Haven to deliver old school/future forward vibes. A true pioneer, Adam X was born and raised in NY and opened the door for underground electronic music to take hold, with a special focus on techno. Alongside his brother, Frankie Bones, Adam launched Sonic Groove as well as legendary techno warehouse parties in the early 90s, providing an outlet for partygoers, techno-heads, and up-and-coming artists, many who became global techno figures. Adam continues to deliver an unparalleled approach to techno music and the dance floor. His uncompromised sets reflect his unique perspective and acute knowledge of the genre, as well as his cross-genre sensibilities. Expect an edge of genre defiance, with cross-pollination from acid, industrial, and EBM. Those familiar with his many production projects (Traversable Wormhole, ADMX-71, The Secret Initiative, Mass-X-Odus, X-Crashed) know Adam's music transcends time. In true Neubody spirit, prepare yourself for timeline jumps such as meetups with future versions of yourself, raver spirits from bygone days, and the spiritual essence of techno.
