Focusing on the impact of sound and space on the body, CCCOLLECTIVE is a party/creative platform that creates different landscapes each time.
With organic community-building at its core, CCCOLLECTIVE incorporates insights from pioneering events/parties to create its own interpretation, emphasizing floor-making that breaks free from existing frameworks while acquiring originality as a value experience.
Since the summer of 2023, based at Shinjuku SPACE, CCCOLLECTIVE has been striving to create a temporal and spatial environment purely for engaging with sound, free from preconceptions of genre, background, or affiliation. Taking advantage of the unique mood of late-night Wednesday club nights, it invites artists from a wide range of fields to construct a space for experimentation and encounters.
CCC is a spin-off project from CCCOLLECTIVE.
Following the successful debut featuring DJ sets by Sarah Bonito of Kero Kero Bonito, the second edition will host with guest appearances by James K from New York and Emma DJ from France.
The lineup also includes performances by lil mofo, pikam from A/V unit tamanaramen (DJ name fiat lux), sudden star from the collective ether, and a B2B set by CCCOLLECTIVE's own Arow and wetssid.
James K is well-known for her diverse activities in music production, DJing, and live performances based in New York City. Her tracks, influenced by genres like experimental, shoegaze, and trip-hop, have garnered attention and she has released music on prominent labels such as Incienso, AD 93, PAN, Dial, and UNO. She has collaborated with artists like Yves Tumor, Hoodie, and Beta Librae, and has been active as a resident DJ on NTS. James K has performed at various festivals and venues across the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe, successfully completing tours in 2023. She continues to engage in active endeavors, with plans for releasing a new EP and album in 2024, further solidifying her position as an artist expected to continue growing in her music career.
Emma DJ is a Finnish-born, Paris-based DJ/producer. Since 2019, he has been producing a wide range of music, from hard and glitchy dance tracks influenced by trap and witch house, to atmospheric downtempo beats. His releases span across labels such as UIQ, REIF, Collapsing Market, BFDM, and L.I.E.S. The aesthetic evident in his work, cultivated over a career spanning more than a decade, is prominent even in his DJ sets, such as those performed at Boiler Room.

2023年夏からは新宿SPACEを拠点に、ジャンルやバックグラウンド、帰属の先入観を取り払い純粋に音と向き合うための時空間を生み出すべく、水曜深夜というクラブナイトとしては決してメインとは言えない時間帯ならではの特別なムードの中、幅広い領域で活躍するアーティストを招き、実験と邂逅の場の構築を試みている。
CCCOLLECTIVEのスピンオフ企画となるCCC。Kero Kero BonitoのフロントシンガーSarah BonitoによるDJセットを招聘した第1回目についで第2回目となる今回は、NYのJames KとフランスのEmma DJがゲスト出演することが決定した。共演にはlil mofoをはじめ、玉名ラーメンのシンガーpikamによるDJ名義fiat lux、コレクティヴetherの創設メンバーsudden starに加えて、主催のCCCOLLECTIVEからArowとwetssidによる初のB2Bセットがラインナップ。
James Kはニューヨークを拠点に楽曲のプロデュース、DJ、ライブパフォーマンスなど多岐にわたる活動で知られている。エクスペリメンタルからシューゲイズ、トリップホップなどの影響を随所に感じさせる楽曲が話題を呼び、Inciensoをはじめ、AD 93、PAN、Dial、UNOなどの名だたるレーベルからリリースを重ねている。またYves TumorやHoodie、Beta Libraeなどのアーティストとのコラボレーションを敢行、NTSのレジデントとしても活動し、さまざまなフェスティバルや会場でのパフォーマンスを行ってきた。2023年にはアメリカ、イギリス、ヨーロッパでのツアーを成功させ、その後も積極的な活動を続けている。2024年には新作EPとアルバムのリリースが予定されており、音楽キャリアのさらなる成長が期待されているアーティストである。
Emma djはフィンランド出身、パリ拠点のDJ/プロデューサー。2019年よりトラップやウィッチハウスの影響下にあるハードでグリッチィなダンストラックからアトモスフィリックなダウンビートまで幅広い楽曲をプロデュースしており、UIQ、REIF、Collapsing Market、BFDM、L.I.E.Sなどのレーベルからもリリースを重ねている。10年以上に渡るキャリアの中で独自に築いてきた彼の作品に現れる美学は、Boiler Roomに出演した際のDJセットなどにも顕著である。
James Kは今回が初来日、Emma DJも昨年夏以来2回目の日本公演となる。CCCでしか体験することのできない特別なラインナップによる極上の一晩。前売チケットはZAIKOにて販売中。
