OSAMU M と Hideo Kobayashi によるネオ・テクノ・ユニット Kandarta(カンダタ)。彼らの音楽は、まるで壮大な映画を見ているような、エモーショナルかつストーリー性のあるシネマティックな世界観を表現している。
その Kandarta が中心となり、アーティストが織りなす音色と共に、視覚に飛び込む映像と照明、肌で感じる空間演出… 全てを通したエンターテインメントの中で、それを共有するそれぞれが個々に何かを感じ、自身の新しい考えを生み出し想像し、その感覚を脳や身体に刻みこみ、懐かしい何かや忘れかけていた大切な志・繋がり・記憶を呼び覚ます… そんな、人間の「遺伝子のスイッチ」の改変、「記憶の可能性」に、今一度問いかける事ができるイベント NEURON 。
昨年は Mathame 、Hunter/Game 、SOEL を招聘、Kandarta も最高のパフォーマンスを披露し東京のメロディック・テクノ・シーンに新たなムーブメントを巻き起こした。
今年初開催は、Afterlife や Radikon から精力的にリリースを続けるドイツ人アーティスト YUBIK が日本初パフォーマンス。更に Massano のレーベル Simulate からリリースされた個性的な名作"Leave No Trace EP"が記憶に新しい SOEL が、OSAMU のバースデーということで昨年に続き駆け付ける。そして今回は Kandarta から OSAMU M がソロパフォーマンスを披露する。
ミステリアスでグルーヴィーな YUBIK 、ダークかつエモーショナルな SOEL 、Kandarta のドラマティックに展開するストーリーがどのように融合するのか、この貴重な機会に是非 WOMB で体感して欲しい。
オープニング・アクトには、楽曲制作やプレイのみならず、様々な角度からオーディエンスの多幸感を引き出すパーティーメイクに期待が集まる RYOHEI 、日本の侘び寂びの感覚と最先端のテクノロジーを駆使した、VJ 100LDK とライティング SAITO による空間演出とアーティストが奏でる音色の融合を全身で感じていただきたい。
4F VIP FLOOR には、モデルとして絶大な人気を誇る傍らテクノとハウスを中心にしたプレイでアジアや日本全国の数え切れないほどのクラブで出演経験のある SAYAKA ARAKI、イビサと東京を繋ぐパーティー SUNNY のレジデント BLACKSHIP 、国内フェスやクラブに数多く出演し Shannon Brothers としての活動にも注目が集まる Louis Shannon、テックハウスの人気パーティー JOYSTICK を主宰する Mark Mila がラインナップされ、ライティングは WOMB を熟知した MORIYA が担当する。テックハウスを軸にしたグルーヴィーなサウンドがフロアの熱量をキープし続けるはずだ。
1F WOMB LOUNGE には、日本の新世代 DJ を代表するアーティスト SEKITOVA を筆頭に、エクスペリメンタル、ディープテクノを中心としたプレイで渋谷翠月のレジデントとして根強いファンを掴む Shinsuke Goto、H.S records 主宰兼所属アーティストとしてテクノからヒップホップまで幅広いジャンルを操る Michel が出演。多彩なジャンルを行き来する一夜に Lisa Bieber が光の演出で魅了してくれるだろう。リーがどのように融合するのか、この貴重な機会に是非 WOMB で体感して欲しい。
Kandarta, formed by OSAMU M and Hideo Kobayashi, is a neo-techno duo that embodies an emotional and cinematic essence akin to an epic movie experience. Their performances gather various artists who blend their music, visuals, lighting, and spatial effects, crafting an immersive entertainment spectacle. Each individual sharing this encounter can spark personal inspiration, weaving new ideas and imaginings, imprinting these sensations into their mind and body, and rekindling nostalgic or forgotten connections and memories. The event "Neuron" at WOMB presents an opportunity to explore the potential of altering our genetic switches and the power of our memories.
Last year, we hosted Mathame(Afterlife), Hunter/Game(Afterlife/Just This) from Milan, and SOEL(Afterlife/Simulate) from New York as special guests. The support from guests and the enthusiastic crowd, coupled with Kandarta's captivating performance, ignited a new movement and resulted in tremendous success.
For the first time this year, German artist YUBIK, who has been actively releasing music on the Afterlife and Atlant labels, will perform for the first time in Japan. SOEL, whose unique masterpiece "Leave No Trace EP" released on Massano's Simulate label is still fresh in our minds, will perform for OSAMU's birthday, as he is coming to Neuron for the second time in the last year and OSAMU M from Kandarta will perform solo this time.
