LA-based party and label Fast At Work returns to London for a Venue MOT takeover with Nene H & Spekki Webu, plus TSUNIMAN and Allecto on support alongside FAW residents Samwise and Seyer.
Berlin-based Turkish-born DJ NENE H has become a powerhouse of Berlin's evolving underground identity–blazing a trail for SWANA, Muslim, queer, and female representation. Whether she's sprinkling trap into a peak-time techno set, or obliterating Berghain in her bridal gown–just when you think you've boxed Beste in, she throws you a curveball that hits you square in the face.
Guided by an ethos gained through his involvement in the gabber and tekno movement, SPEKKI WEBU cultivates a sound that can be described as persistent and ritualistic. In his DJ sets, he deconstructs time and space with fierce precision and tactility. On a constant quest to explore the unknown, his studio-binging sessions resulted in releases on widely respected labels such as Amniote, Blue Hour, and Positive Source.
Bred from the shadowy industrial haunts and DIY ethos that has long defined the Los Angeles underground, FAST AT WORK has risen over the last two-and-a-half years as a tastemaking sonic and aesthetic force. Created by four friends as a beacon for left-field electronic music and immersive production in their own backyard, Fast At Work aims to synthesize their marathon experiences at some of the world’s most coveted parties and festivals into an original concept and inclusive atmosphere. The party has welcomed a host of LA debuts and further triumphs from the outer-edges of the dance floor including the likes of Livwutang, Darwin, Mama Snake, Spekki Webu, AQUARIAN, Introspekt, Ayesha, Priori, Black Rave Culture and more, plus made its London debut at Corsica in summer 2023.
Most recently, Fast At Work launched their own imprint and first release, ‘Soft Fascination’ EP from FAW’s own Carré.
