For a year, the Cyber Dervishes have been waiting for the right moment for an evil rave. Hosted by the capital club HAZE, we invite you to a night of networking. On April 19th, we are teaming up with a mighty force from the European youth scene:
The Undertaker's Tapes is an ebm/techno/noise/power electronics project by Léo Hivert - French, nomadic, currently residing in Prague, Thessaloniki and not staying long in one place. He has worked with DYI labels from Berlin, Prague such as Area Z, Modular Mind, Phage Tapes, collaborated with names such as Ancient Methods, Qual (from Lebanon Hanover), Crystal Geometry and a huge variability is found in his musical expressions. It promises a live gig with proper beats, distorted vocals and a noisy underground.
Donna Haringwey - aggressive and digital punk. With him, the driving force is the direct and flashy performance. It goes on its own introverted rebellion against the bad habits of the digital age, and its energy is reminiscent of Death Grips and N8noface, as well as a little of the young minds of Trent Reznor and Alec Empire. He has released on his own platform Accept, as well as worked with Strange Therapy and Smashing Tape Records.
From the Bulgarian side, as live, we have the honor to gather in one place:
Snakeatsnake – minimalist anhalt EBM infused with the aesthetics of bunkers, mold, abandoned bomb shelters; a stalker that uses scrap metal, cymbals and other percussion over a continuous dynamo of arpeggio scores and injects a sense of synth punk dynamics. There are releases with the local tape label Aeon Tapes, as well as his own releases from his own Bunker 43 label.
Evitceless - is an experimental deep bass/industrial project that mixes beats with fine bass control, guitar sounds and electronic instruments, and in recent months he has greatly built on his music with depressed vocals and even a minimalist post-punk feel that after all, it has always made it difficult to define his style, and in the end it doesn't need to be. He has worked with powerful labels such as Amek Collective from the Bulgarian side, Opal Tapes, Strange Therapy and Yerevan Tapes. In this edition, he is an important contributor to the Dervish Club.
Snezhana is also the eponymous name of our special guest DJ. She is known throughout the Sofia club life with her sets mixed at important events alongside invited world names such as Electric Indigo, Helena Hauff, Stefan Goldmann, Zozo, Skatebård, Mozhgan, Stingray 313, podcasts, radios, she has written articles on the local platform for electronic music Fonoteka Elektrika.
Defect and Seraphim Veluvian are the creators and permanent members of the Order of Cyber Dervishes, who will continue the true evening and immortal dawns with an increased tempo between ebm and techno/industrial.
