As the summer months begin to roll in, Grooves are bringing the heat down to the Four Quarters basement for another showcase of talented DJs painting the warm tones of drum & bass, jungle, breaks and everything in between. On 11th May, gracing the turntables alongside the Grooves residents are Temporaryalex and Brown-E who, between them, are guaranteed to provide energy to the basement, spanning the width and depth of drum & bass and jungle with the coldest of cuts.
Grooves’ vision remains a night aimed at partygoers, jungle nerds, and chin-stroking DJs alike; the aim is to exhibit the best of DJ culture in underground music, whilst creating a safe space for those who just want to get lost in music for hours on end. For some, the thrill will be found in admiring the technical ability and selection prowess of the DJs; but for most, high quality music heard in high fidelity surrounded by people on the same wavelength is what makes a night memorable.
Entry is free all night and non-ticketed, last entry 1am. See you on the dancefloor x
