Like any cultural phenomenon, the electronic scene in Georgia is evolving not only in its capital but also becoming popular in other cities of the country. The musical movement Khmebi has been promoting Georgian electronic music in Batumi for the past year, and this month, on April 20th, it will host its first event of the year.
Khmebi's mission is not only to create a space for electronic music enthusiasts but also to educate the masses through various forms. One form of education is bringing in foreign artists as well as artists from other cities and promotional groups.
This time, the live legend of #GermanTechno the creator of the Inhalt Der Nacht project, and a resident of the Tbilisi club #KHIDI and #TheOffice, in Yerevan, will perform for the Batumi scene - maestro Christoph Faust. In addition to advancing his own creativity, he also nurtures young artists by conducting numerous masterclasses in Yerevan and Kyiv and has his own label, #exekutive #funktionen
Also performing alongside him will be our friend and ally from the movement, a Ukrainian DJ and Producer, now based in Berlin Omon Breaker. Over the past year, he has performed at the iconic #Berghain club, released a significant number of vinyl releases, and has become the curator of the Das Werk project.
Local support will come from both: young audience favorites and recognized figures in Georgian culture.
Resident of the #KHIDI club in Tbilisi, a regular participant of the #BITE Records label - OTHR. His brutal sound has become the artist's hallmark, representing the best traditions of his home club.

Representing the movement itself will be the co-founder and resident of #Khmebi - KHORUMI. His latest work has shown the emotional depth and genre diversity of his music. However, what he has prepared this time remains a mystery.
