The Michigan artist has been one of the most essential artists in the genre, crafting mesmerizing audio landscapes bolstered by throbbing groovy undercurrents. Deepchord's productions are in a class of their own, and for this edition he performs a rare live set. This will be legendary.
Shifting away from the typical concert / club dichotomy, Dripping has instead programmed the night to evolve with a fluid grace. Time Wharp opens with a live set, fusing the psychedelic loop minimalism of Terry Riley with a freewheeling, exploratory compositional edge. Purelink have established themselves as modern masters of airy-but-deep downtempo, pulling the audience into an undulating, subaqueous realm. Max In The World collaborates with saxophonist Kroba for a deep groovy set that breathes with stunning spaciousness. Following Deepchord's headlining set, Gaze pick up the pieces with a more keyed up live/DJ hybrid, mixing heaving bass weight and immersive textures. Viiaan brings it home with a high energy smackdown.
