- The first Nonstop of May kicks off with a set from Richard Akingbehin, one of the current leading lights of dub, techno, and ambient, the co-founder of Berlin’s Refuge Worldwide community radio station and label head of Kynant Records. Nowadays resident Aurora Halal follows with a four-hour peak-hours set sure to traverse the psychedelic fringes of techno and beyond. For the sunrise, Ploy takes over – with releases on Hessle Audio and Batu’s Timedance, he’s a master of gritty bass and wild, experimental takes on club music. Then it’s breakfast with Berlin’s DJ Fart In The Club, an NYC favorite who has previously graced the dancefloors of Sustain-Release, Mutual Dreaming, and Groovy Groovy with adventurous, bass-driven sets. Chicago ghetto house and juke originator DJ Slugo takes over next, followed by Dangerous Rose, aka Rosa Peligrosa.
