  • outlaw x Mizz Softee x Same Bitches Welcome to a creamy, dreamy, and sexy ice cream factory. Seriously — this warehouse is a former ice cream manufacturing plant — and it will be transformed into a multi-stage extravaganza produced by moi’self and New Yawk rave maestro *outlaw* to present *Same Bitches* in celebration of their 10 year anniversary… (the older she gets, the more this bitch is on fire). Same Bitches, launched in 2014, is a staple of the Berlin scene. Starting as a monthly party at OHM, it expanded to include a residency in Madrid and launched a label in 2021. The party’s unique sound blends elements of Detroit rawness, acid, electro, jacking house, and old school techno into a funky, harmonious journey. Joining Same Bitches residents Handmade and VCO will be New York’s own TT, Elle Dee, Car Culture (aka Physical Therapy), Michael Magnan, Henry Chow, Cotton, Samuel Fish and a live set from PPL Motorsport. +++ Get ready to melt your tata’s off. Mwah! — ⁂ Friday, May 3rd: 10pm - 8am ⁂ Custom Lighting Design and Visual Installations ⁂ Artwork by: Pavo&sm___it ⁂ Private Brooklyn warehouse emailed to ticket holders by 8pm day of event. All tickets are non-refundable. P R O G R A M Main Room: → Handmade → VCO → Elle Dee → Cotton Tunnel: → Michael Magnan → TT → Samuel Fish Chillzone: → Car Culture → PPL Motorsport (Live) → Henry Chow (✿◕‿◕✿) ▲ NUTRITIONAL FACTS ▲ Following fifteen years of residency, it’s safe to call an artist an OG, and *Handmade* has just these qualifications, beginning his spell at Tresor in 2009 and starting the Same Bitches event in 2014 as a co-founder alongside VCO, Ron Wilson, and Brooklyn-Berlin stalwart Derek Plaslaiko, four very serious selectors with decades of experience between them whose Berlin/Madrid based event quickly attained an infamous reputation for debauched decadence in the queer scene of both cities. Following the pandemic they re-launched with an eponymous label and took their now-renown events on tour across Europe and nearby regions. Now an established name on the European circuit with US appearances at prestigious events since 2015, Mizz Softee is overjoyed to welcome Handmade back for a second swirl. (★‿★) *VCO* is Guillermo Rojas, originally from Gran Canaria in Spain. Alongside Handmade, he has been a Tresor resident since 2018 on the merits of previous work under his Artik alias, as well as an establishing resident of Same Bitches. Initially using VCO for his DJ appearances, with the 2021 launch of the Same Bitches label he folded everything under one moniker, following up their compilation release with a 2022 solo EP on the Moral Standards sublabel of P.E.A.R.L.’s Falling Ethics imprint, a mark of respect from one of techno’s established statesmen. His sets and productions refuse to conform to genre, synthesizing his love for electro, acid, drum and bass, hip hop, ‘90s UK bass, and techno into a slamming whole while captivating audiences with experimental and groundbreaking sounds. This mixture is sure to set things ablaze for his second US appearance alongside Same Bitches co-resident Handmade for outlaw Softee Bitches. (★‿★) In the New York City club scene for over ten years, *Elle Dee* is known for her ability to control a room—shifting between techno, house, and breaks. A trained drummer, Elle has an intuitive understanding of timing and rhythm. Her music selection has landed her gigs in New York's staple venues like Basement, Knockdown Center, Good Room, and Elsewhere, as well as parties in the city and around the world such as Merge, Mala Junta, and Mamba Negra. In March 2020, Elle took the next step and launched the MILD FANTASY label, a queer techno label in NYC. (★‿★) *TT* BRITT (b. Richmond VA) is a multidisciplinary artist based in New York City and works within the mediums of image, fashion, and sound. Common influences within TT’s practice include repetition (mantra), mysticism, ambiguity, cut up techniques, afrofuturism, and ancestral enlightenment . His sets can be described as a poly rhythmic journey exploring frequencies that are both otherworldly yet down to earth. TT has been invited into institutions such as: The Palais de Tokyo, The Guggenheim, MoMa PS1, MoCADA, and most recently The Metropolitan Museum of Art. TT has played parties, clubs, and festivals across the globe including: BASEMENT NYC, Nowadays, Den An Side - CPH, TAG - Chengdu, Zhao Dai - Shanghai, Wire Festival, Sustain Release, Dweller Festival, Herrensauna, Fast Forward, Bound, Endurance, Mala Junta, and MoMa PS1 - Warm Up. (★‿★) One of the core DJs of NYC’s queer house scene with roots stretching back to 2009, Michael Magnan has a long, close affiliation with the notorious Carry Nation duo from before that moniker was minted, helping to bring NYC’s queer underground back to form during thin times in the 2010s mostly at more intimate weeknight bacchanals. Half of duo Fatherhood with Physical Therapy, another now-renown artist whose history with Magnan precedes his international fame, a former resident at the infamous Shade events, Fruits and Vegetables, and Spectrum. He’s played every club and party worth its salt in NYC and enjoys international respect in his area of expertise, groovy queer-focused house with plenty of pizzazz. (★‿★) Now one of New York’s most acclaimed DJs and producers, *Car Culture* is the one of the many guises of Daniel Fisher, aka Physical Therapy. Spread out across a number of aliases on esteemed labels like Nonplus, Work Them Records, Delft, Liberation Technologies, and his own Allergy Season, his productions run the distance between hard techno, breaks, house, ambient, and anything in between, a diversity also typical of his DJ sets, which remain party-focused but also show his experience, tastes, willingness to experiment, and resistance to pigeonholing. Car Culture is the most hypnagogic alias of Fisher and for anyone who is familiar with the Car Culture productions or DJ mixes they will know they are in for a true Chillzone treat. ▲ ETIQUETTE ▲ Mizz Softee is a warm, welcoming space for all gender, racial, ethnic, sexual, age and class identities.
