Foxglove Cultivate is a vinyl education, practice and performance and community concept that holds twice monthly open decks accompanied by a featured artist performance to cap off the night.
Every 2nd and 4th Thursday, the Foxglove garage will open at 5pm. Thirty minute open decks slots will run from 5:30-10:30 with the featured artist performing 10:30-12p.
Four of the ten open decks slots are available via online lottery on the Tuesday before open decks. See linktree on this event page or link in our instagram bio to signup.
The rest of the slots are available for in-person sign up on the day of open decks starting at 5p.
Equipment includes two Technics SL-1200 MK2 turntables and either a Xone 92 or Ecler Warm2 mixer, depending on the preference of the featured artist. .
We want to emphasize record sharing over mixing so we encourage those with little to no mixing experience to simply play their favorite records. We are more than happy to assist with operating the equipment.
We hope to create a supprortive, open & judgement free community where vinyl enthusiasts & artists of all skill levels and tastes can come together to enjoy good music and community. As such, the space is organized to ake you feel at home and to facilitate dialogue and connection.
