On May 17th, BASSIANI welcomes the Bitta Record, with a focus on artists coming out of Japan, to function as a space for experimentation to instigate multiple styles. The unique chemistry created by these cross-genre connections results in an exciting catalogue carefully curated and directed by DJ Nobu, Japan's techno hero, the founder of the Future Terror party series and the Bitta Record label, whose decades-long dedication has shaped a distinct sonic identity. Joining forces with DJ Nobu is sound artist Doltz, whose musical journey began in 1998 as a member of a hardcore punk band, eventually captured the attention of DJ Nobu with his early ambient compositions and earned a place within the Bitta family. Intuitive and brilliant producer Konduku, who delivers an undeniable sonic pattern of uptempo, liquid, and polyrhythmic groove, sound designer and member of the 11TH commune, Nikala and the influential founder of Shin Records and master behind the decks, Kancheli, renowned for his energetic and razor-sharp mixing style. HOROOM invites producer Levan Grdzelidze, the mastermind behind Glispy Records; music enthusiast and record collector DJ Surge, deeply inspired by Detroit techno and Chicago house; and Charch, a Tallin-based Georgian selector, co-founder of Biit Me Record Store, and resident DJ at Club Hall in Riga.
