Chicago’s Jdotbalance takes club music to wild, unpredictable and banging territory, most notably in his latest release for NYC label / forward-thinking-party-visionaries, SLINK. Jdotbalance shows us that dance floors deserve more than just 8-bar loops and functional tools. Jdot’s embodied by their passion for unconventional sonics. Their sounds can be characterized as fusing hybrid synthesis dynamics and unfamiliar hooks, guided by an ever-present stimulus that can be defined as forward-thinking, left-field dance and global club music. His sonic vision has led to releases on SLINK, Fixed Rhythms and ESP Institute as well as mixes featured on RinseFM, NTS, and The Lot Radio.
