- Community-supported party Starseeds is thrilled to welcome collaborators Fast and Bi-Furious – the crew behind London’s fave bi rave situation – to put the pedal to the metal for their arrival in Berlin at Fitzroy on May 5th. Are you curious to know what it’s like to have both … erm… these two collectives on one memorable Sunday? ;) Soundtracking the vibe of the sunset reflecting off the Spree as only she could, Pjenné joins us on the last stop of her European tour. Punctuating the night, Hanaby will bring her unique mastery that has led her to residency at Kilowatt, running Berlin collective Local Juice Soundsystem, and burning up Panorama Bar. Hanaby's sets propel bodies into an unstoppable frenzy. Embracing the spirit of the Diaspora, she expertly weaves together elements of gqom, dancehall, kuduro, and more, creating a vibrant soundscape that celebrates the tapestry of human culture. Hanaby's arsenal includes the electrifying energy of deconstructed club rhythms and bass music, crafting unforgettable moments on the dance floor that have brought her to the likes of Boiler Room, CTM, Golosa, and Mala Junta. Pjenné’s deep sensitivities to the nuances of sound in ethereal 90s electronica, psychedelic IDM, and meditative leftfield sounds gathered as a DJ, radio broadcaster with Passing Notes, and Companion label manager based in Naarm/Melbourne make her an expert storyteller at festivals, clubs, and underground raves internationally. Trance, progressive, and all forms of bass – from syncopated techno to a well-selected drum and bass surprise – punctuated her iconic closing at Hypersoft last August in Berlin, and have led her to tour with the legendary Higher Intelligence Agency and collab with forward thinking progressive labels Oddyssy and Harmony Rec. Starseeds residents DJ Chichi and Solalex will invite their growing community back to Fitzroy with a full hearted opener, digging into their bags of genre-non-conforming eclectic grooves, which are intended to align cosmic and earth rhythms while promoting a soft and kind dancefloor. Fast and Bi-Furious founder Buggery Grips and residents Samantha and The Nightbus will carry the night with the Bass, Breaks, and Babes that burn up the floor at their on-going residency at the iconic queer club and drag brunch destination Dalston Superstore in London. Finally, we’re beyond thrilled to welcome three absolute Babes to the dancefloor – three stars of the the Berlin ballroom scene -- Emma, Mandhla, and Aywaa. We can’t imagine better hosts to help us celebrate the arrival of London’s fave bi rave as we gather together for the favorite Sunday evening dancefloor hours of those who know in Berlin. Just want to bask in the warm glow of community with queer folx and allies? We have the sexy Sunday dance for you... We rely on our community contributions to make our events sustainable.
