Pi Electronics is the record label of the Greek collective 'π', a platform founded in 2014 based in Berlin (Germany). ‘π’ began as an event series currently numbering 41 parties in Athens (Greece) and Berlin, while soon after it began with its activity as a record label.
Visually loyal to the aesthetics of mid-evil twisted drawings satirising figures of the Vatican, Pi Electronics has as primary aim to showcase music by Greek producers along with favourite International artists of the collective.
The sound of π has been labeled by the industrial leaning crossover of Techno and Broken Beat, even though label catalogue includes electro, ebm, hypnotic, ambient and noise.
We are honored to welcome 3.14 and ANFS to Groundless Factory and celebrate the 10 years of the 'π'!
3.14 is the project of DJ and producer Alex π, hailing from Athens, Greece – based in Berlin since 2013. Founder of the Pi Eletronics project and co-owner of Modal Analysis record label, his sound crosses over techno, breaks, and club-oriented music, infused with the 80s' aesthetics of industrial/noise and sub-genres.
ANFS is an electronic music producer and DJ based in Athens, being involved in various projects such as the record labels Vanila, Modal Analysis and being also the one half of the music groups, Vofa and Noor 1.
