After last years successful fundraiser, Arcane returns in 2024 with an open air event located at ‘Gloves Off’ space at The Glove That Fits for the May bank holiday. We’ve handpicked Some of London most tasteful selectors across the electronic realms of experimental techno, ambient, EBM and downtempo electronica. 100% of proceeds will be going directly to msf.org.uk We welcome the London based selector, Faux Naif to ARCANE. A current resident on Rinse FM, as well as a member of the queer collective Love Child and promoter for the London club night, M II M and Elegia, Manchester. Her signature sounds echo the era of 80’s; from post-punk, wave, minimal electronics to body music, with new beat, electro and industrial / experimental electronic sounds brought to the dancefloor. In addition, known for their eye-wateringly euphoric sets that leave all in varying states of hysteria, Sob Story is the main collaborative project of London-based producer and DJ duo Oliver Gibson and Vile hell. Familiar faces within London's clandestine corners, the two have cut their teeth at many an institutional party over the past decade, not only giving their music input but also their unwavering support to these underground events & their line-ups. 7XINS is predominantly a producer and live electronic music performer concentrating on a manipulation of machinery and hardware. Residing from a post industrial town in South Wales. With a background in mechanical engineering and electronics, Ben's transition into audio electronics was a natural one, having developed a healthy obsession with machines and the intricacies of sound since his early discovery of hard house and rave culture. Whilst running new musical imprint 'Severn Electronics' , 7XINS remains heavily involved in London’s dance music scene holding down a residency as a live performer at FOLD and a recent debut performance at Tresor in Berlin. / Raised in Manchester, Paleman has rapidly risen through the ranks since emerging in 2012 from within the UKs vibrant post-dubstep scene Multiple releases on Swamp81 started his career aged 18 followed by a collaboration with UK mercury prize jazz nominees Polar Bear in 2014 before he launched his own white label series in 2016 “PLMN”. His most recent album was released on Sublunar, and previously works were released on Nonplus, showcasing deep and textured productions. Paleman seems to be on an ever increasing upwards curve, shifting his sound and exploring new realms of experimental modular driven techno that defies convention. This alternative side can be showcases through his output under the Fresnel Lens alias., which focuses on ambient, drone and soundscapes. / Ireen Amnes is a multifaceted artist and DJ, founder of the collective and label Under My Feet. Her artistic roots in industrial, noise, and experimental genres infuse her live hardware and DJ sets with moody, unpredictable journeys that explore an array of styles and intensities. Based in Berlin, Ireen's musical odyssey commenced as a singer and instrumentalist in metal bands, eventually weaving her signature style into the world of electronic music. Within her own productions, Ireen's music transcends with distorted aesthetics, melancholic atmospherics, and deconstructed rhythms, evident in recent works such as a collaboration with Drew McDowall of Coil; her latest EP on Tresor Records; and the collaborative EP "Unravelling" alongside Kamikaze Space Programme. Her first full-length LP "In The Land Of Silence" released in 2020 through Sonic Groove Experiments, received critical acclaim, with reviewers praising the emotional depth conveyed through moving melodies and rumbling drones. / For over 7 years Drax has been honing his sound in the ambient sphere. His productions comprise of techniques using field recordings and instrument manipulation to build up his soundscapes. Drax has recently created his own project ‘The Doldrums’ which focuses on showcasing up and coming ambient artist. Drax’s set will be a showcase of his own productions and elements designed for the day. / . Come join us for a day of delicious music, food and cocktails, all for a good cause. .
