- Welt Discos is back! // Welt Discos está de volta! ABENA (SC/IG: @abenabenabena) Abena is a Manchester-based DJ whose sets oscillate between faster, bass-heavy sounds and slower, experimental electronics. A fixture at Manchester institution The White Hotel, their fresh approach has taken them to clubs like Globus and Corsica Studios and festivals like Field Maneuvres and Headroom. In 2018, they co-founded All Hands On Deck, an open-deck party and collective for women, non-binary and trans DJs. AHOD recently ran a two-day workshop at Tremor festival in the Azores; and now Abena comes to Lisbon to turn us all out! // Abena é DJ de Manchester, UK, cujos sets oscilam entre sons rápidos e pesados e eletrónica mais lenta e experimental. Frequentemente presente no booth do The White Hotel em Manchester, a sua abordagem refrescante já resultou em atuações em clubes como Globus e Corsica Studios e em festivais como Field Maneuvers e Headroom. Em 2018, cofundou All Hands On Deck, coletivo e festa ‘open-decks’ para DJs mulheres e pessoas não-binárias e trans. AHOD acaba de apresentar um workshop no festival Tremor nos Açores; e agora vem Abena para acender a pista de Lisboa! PHOEBE (SC: @phoebephoebephoebe / IG: @brunobrunophoebephoebe) Phoebe is a DJ, producer, label owner, agent, organiser, agitator and all-round sweetheart. A core member of the Planeta Manas and Mina collectives, booker for Rama em Flor festival and Myth Agency, he also co-founded the body-positive queer party CURVS. His latest EP, Homo Hustle on the Portuguese label Discos Extendes, shows off his playful take on ravey house and breaks. Meanwhile, the past year has seen him DJing at Bassiani (Tbilisi), Ohm (Berlin), Tuff Club (Singapore) and the queer cataclysm of Whole Festival. // Phoebe é DJ, produtor, dono de editora, agente, promotor, agitador e querido total.
