First I wanna thank everyone for their support for the first two Makin Shapes over the past few months that made the night very memorable.
For the next one we have enlisted the DJ talents of one of Limericks
finest DJ's , DJ Pippy.
Pippy will be playing a two hour vinyl only set for us. Playing only the finest Deep , Soulful & Jazzy House sounds from the Underground.
Influenced by the House sounds of Chicago, Detroit and NYC/NJ and clubs like Body ‘n’Soul NYC and Sir Henry’s, Cork.
Pippy started back in 1991 in the YAH club in Limerick and played in many more around the country.
Theatre Royal , Sir Henry’s, The Cairo and Can’t Stop to name but a few, warming up for the likes of Dave Clark , Charles Webster and Shane Johnson along the way.
These days you can find Pippy in The Vault , Limerick‘s vinyl club night , held in the Record Room.
