Pareidolia is an archaeological dig into soundsystem variants
Celebrate the Bank Holiday as residents and friends soundtrack the caustic banks of the Thames, dredging acid chug and imploded pop for the intrepid dancer
Don't be scared though, we're actually really nice.
Aria S. L.
Classically trained opera singer, one half of Eyelvl and purveyor of hardcute 'Future Pop' on her Noods Radio residency, Aria S. L. is as versatile as she is knowledgable. Her on-the-fly-mixes draw from an extensive and quite frankly formidable depth of research into the bleeding edge of pop, reticulating rapid bpm bangers alongside saccharine girlypops vibes.
Shirah
Shirah's selections trace the influences of myriad artists and genres, from the canonical to the hyperniche, through the recordings they sample. She is also a Noods resident via the inimitable 'Sample Stories' which is now in its third year. Recent shows have included a survey of English Industrial music alongside a plunge into Rosalia's flamenco roots. A known lover of slow club music, she knows how to give space and weight to her selections.
X-Pert Pir
X-Pert Pir is a UK club archivist with a brain that would put people who actually lived through the 90s to shame. He joins Pareidolia founder and fellow resident Cam Christie in both warmzing and cooling duties.
Visuals from Charlie Bird.
Pareidolia resident and connoisseur of the poor image, Charlie is a photographer who has exhibited work at the Tate Liverpool and is currently one of the young curators at an upcoming exhibition in The Photographer's Gallery. This time he takes the terraqueous zones of the Thames as his theme.
No racism, homophobia, sexism, transphobia, ableism, electro-swing.
