- Dunun x Ecstasy State is coming to Dalston Den on Thursday the 9th of May 2024 to celebrate the release of Dunun EP by MAT-E and MARENIUS with Ecstasy State. Since their inception in 2017, London-based techno label Ecstasy State has long been the home of some of the most exciting and diverse artists within the genre of techno. It prides itself in providing its audience within meaningful music and carefully selected tracks. Hailing from the northern reaches of Norway, MARENIUS is emerging as a dynamic force in the electronic music sphere. Both a producer and a DJ, he will be making his debut onto the London techno scene and pushing boundaries by blending hypnotic grooves and immersive soundscapes. Drawing upon his Scandinavian heritage and extensive experience as an audio engineer, he crafts a sound that is rhythmically propulsive. As anticipation is building up for his upcoming releases, MARENIUS invites listeners to embark on a sonic odyssey set to captivate global audiences. MAT-E is a British techno artist, producer and audio engineer based in London. Inspired by the Berlin techno scene, MAT-E has developed a distinct sonic identity, which is brought out in both his production and his performances. Known for his dynamic interpretation of techno, his high-energy sets flow between soundscapes and bring out strong, percussive grooves. By weaving the two together, he leaves an indelible mark on his audiences. MARENIUS and MAT-E will be joined by some of the most exciting names on the London techno scene including Ecstasy State label boss Unknown Caller, underground techno sensation NLI and an opening set by Greek techno artist ESTL.
