A house aficionado, Max is an obsessive record collector with a love for sharing music with others. In a culture where many protect their track IDs, Max is always keen to share. Whether he is searching on discogs or traveling the country to dig, there is a constant quest for more. It is this insatiable thirst for discovering music that is at the heart of what Steep represents and Max embodies that fully.
Obsessed by the sound of the past & the magic of the future, Max looks for the adhesive connecting the many hues of electronic music -- be it house, techno, electro, trance and more. He blends hypnotic melodies with intricate rhythms to produce complex, compelling sets. His selections and storytelling have led to him play alongside artists such as Anthea, Evan Baggs, Harrison BDP, John Dimas and Raphael Carrau at clubs like Apollo Studios, Elsewhere, Flash, Lost Beach Club, Mansions, Output & many more.
Max has a knack for selecting records at any hour, for any ambiance. With that in mind it felt fitting to have him play for as long as possible, so we could hear and appreciate the depths of his taste. This is going to be a special one, we cannot wait to immerse ourselves in Max’s sound for five hours.
