Following on from a sold out 2023 series, Heatwave Brixton will be taking you through a hedonistic journey of house, disco & dance music goodness featuring some incredible DJs. Kicking off on Brixton Jamm’s suntrap terrace with brand new retractable roof, you’ll be sipping cocktails, shades on, open air before stomping to the darker beats roof closed. If that’s not enough, move indoors and lose yourself to dance in our 2-room club - this one’s for all you house-heads and disco groovers. We’re inviting only the finest selectors to drop the hottest sets guaranteed to get your energy going… 2023 started with a bang for rising DJ/ Producer Leena Punks with a second Hottest Record on BBC radio 1 by Charlie Hedges for 'Dawn of the Dead'. After releasing on New State, a feature on LP Giobbi's compilation on Insomniac records and a remix on Stress records, her AnjunaBeats track debut 'On The Floor' was picked by Charlie Hedges as BBC Radio One's Hottest record and gained lots of support from Jaguar, Sarah Story, Adele Roberts and Ben Malone on KISS FM. Leena is set to dissect her deep bag of House & Disco dance floor fillers! Ever since Tommy Farrow’s 2020 single “Let’s Just” blew everyone’s minds, he’s been on the radar of just about every house head on the planet. Over the last three years he’s had tracks crowned ‘Hottest Record In The World’ by BBC R1, won support from Sarah Story and Pete Tong and played many respectable UK institutions like Warehouse Project, performing a three date headline residency at Gonzo’s Tea Room, to festival stages at Reading & Leeds Festival, Hideout Festival, and Snowbombing Festival. In 2024, he dropped his debut 5-track EP “The Night We Met”, which gained early support from Radio 1 and KISS FM as well as participants of packed dance floors. Now Tommy counts industry titans Kevin De Vries and Fideles as fans, with releases on the likes of Stress Records, Funfair Records and Armada Music.
