- We're celebrating Japan's highly esteemed and globally acclaimed label, Mule Musiq's 20th anniversary on June 21st in NYC. We welcome back Kuniyuki for a Live set, label head Toshiya Kawasaki, along with Jacques Renault in the Good Room. While Mule Musiq artist Soos from CDMX, with NYC mainstays Timo Lee and Yurk will take you on an adventurous and eclectic night in the Bad Room! Mule Musiq, the Japanese label set up in 2000 by Toshiya Kawasaki. Along with its sister labels Mule Electronic and Endless Flight, you could put on an enviable dance music festival with Mule's roster of artists. The ever-consistent and prolific producer Kuniyuki will be playing live at the party while T.Kawasaki will be DJing for the celebration. Kuniyuki Takahashi, based in Sapporo, Japan, started his solo career in 1994. He's gained recognition for his diverse releases under aliases like FRR HIVE and KOSS, collaborating with labels with Mule Musiq, BASSMENTAL, 2000 BLACK & more. His remixes and productions are along with Let's Play House Jacques Renault in the main room. In the Bad Room - Soos, a DJ and producer from CDMX that has been pushing a zany approach to dance music for over a decade. With his recent release on Mule Musiq, both his selections and studio work explore the phenomenon of cross-genre narratives, where fun, amusement and discovery rule over all other traditional story-telling in dance music. Also in the Bad room with Chomp! Chomp!'s Timo Lee bringing her eclectic and diverse taste, along with Puerto Rican producer and DJ, Yurk draws a wide range of inspirations from Latin to electronic music around the world.
