  • About BRUS Radiosekvens: Fotografiska, together with BRUS, presents Radiosekvens (Radio sequence), a name that suggests and invites to a series of events at Fotografiska consisting of musical acts, art and light, conversations, and encounters. Last time, musical pioneers Bella Boo and Anthony Linell, as well as visual artists MatteMatrix and Dennis Vera from Studio WØT, were our guests. This time, we will be joined by pioneers such as Elin Piel and Dorisburg. And if we know BRUS correctly, there are always more things you don't want to miss. Dorisburg: There's a patient consistency at the heart of Alexander Berg's work as Dorisburg. The Swedish producer’s catalogue encompasses both dreamy, melancholic melody and hypnotic drum tracks and maintains a quality and singularity of personality both on record and in the live setting, performance being a deep focus for Berg with his solo project. His debut album, Irrbloss, and EPs for Northern Electronics, Aniara Recordings and Bossmusik, display a dizzying sonic range. While he shifts through stylistic lanes with ease, all of his tracks are anchored by a lush atmosphere that adds an otherworldly magic to even his toughest beats. Berg creates this same enveloping feel in his masterful live shows. This is where the countless hours in the studio, the trove of tracks that have not yet or simply won't be released, serve a transportative purpose. Along with a trove of unheard material, Berg delivers faithful versions of back catalogue classics, but leaves room for improvisation. Each night with his live show, he shows what he's learned on his journey, in adroit command of his hardware rig. Elin Piel: Elin is an electronic musician who, through improvisation, creates repetitive and rhythmic soundscapes, taking her audience's hands and guiding them along dreamy paths and polyrhythmic textures. At times, she rests in bright, shimmering, ambient worlds, only to lift and float away into dark, pulsating clouds of unrest in the next moment. In 2022, the album "Satsuma Sunday" was released on the Japanese label Muzan Editions, in spring 2023 "Retina" was released on Christoffer Berg's label Rhythm Paint, and in autumn 2023 the full-length "Ingrid Linnea" was released on Mystery Circles. More music is expected to be released this year, something that we and many others are eagerly anticipating. During the evening, Elin will create an improvised live set with the aim to land in dance, something that you definitely do not want to miss. Therefore, it is recommended to arrive as early as possible.
