We’re looking forward to bringing you another edition of ADB with Berlin-based guest Denise Rabe.
Denise Rabe’s experience in the Berlin techno scene as a booker, radio host, and DJ is unmatched. Through these experiences, she has become a pragmatic and grounded artist with a unique, original voice that’s notably reflected in her work as a producer.
Her approach and work ethic can be seen expressed on every release she’s put out under her label, Rabe. Her music is matched with an equal amount of care and thoughtfulness in the vessels that contain it. Her label always deliver a coherent aesthetic and vision that informs the music, artwork, and presentation equally.
Rabe’s sound is particularly inclined to sparse industrial soundscapes, gothic aesthetics, driving grooves that hypnotize as much as they distinguish. Her haunting sounds and intense rhythmic structures deliver a contemporary feel that take you through a wild trip.
Her unique and locked-in vision in music has propelled her career across clubs all over the US, Asia and Europe. She commands the booth at clubs such as Berghain and Tresor often.
We’re very excited to have her headline our night after seeing her close Berghain last summer in 2023.
