ISM Records Yam Who and Shorty G will be spinning with guest DJ The Wook.
Expect heavy electric boogie beats, serious, disco synthscapes and future funk as well as lots of yet unreleased floor smashers from ISM that are already having it on the floor from the likes of Pete Herbert, Ron Basejam and Faze action.
Although a fairly new label ISM records has already established itself as a leader of the increasingly popular Electric Boogie sound moving away from saturation of purely disco edits and digging just that little bit deeper.
So far Ism has already had releases out from Boogie Monster Ron Basejam (of Crazy P'), the legendary Chaz Jankel,and Croatia's analogue disco don Ilija Rudman. On top of this Yam Who?'s disco super group Killer Whale headlined at the amazing Garden Festival in Croatia.
With this in mind it may come as no surprise to hear they have more projects coming soon with The Off Key Hat, Natasha Watt's and a full rework project with Odyssey on some of their heaviest hits including
'Going Back to my Roots' & 'Inside Out'.
What makes ISM stand out is its creative style which is more about reworking the tracks with the artists and bringing the tracks up to date with modern production techniques using great musicians and heavy weight re-mixers.
Look out for future remixes from Amp Fiddler, Dany Krivit, Ashley Beedle, Cosmodelica and Pete Herbert, and this is just a hint of what's in the pipeline at ISM.
Hosting the Upstairs room on the night will be Tactile who are hosting their second birthday party with the following line up.
