Republic Artists has been on it’s journey from house to techno for 3 years now and like every November they are gonna celebrate. The last party of 2010 is taking place in Old Street at a new music venue spread out over 2 floors (with a smoking terrace on the roof) that’s already gained a reputation for introducing the freshest local underground talent as well as top international headline artists. This is NOMAD.
2010 was yet a...nother great year full of highlights for Republic Artists. With the hosting of events at Area and The Lightbox, which saw the London debut of Lance Blaise aka Tattoo Detective (USA / Teggno Records) as well as Toki aka Rumenige (SK/Tresor) Republic Artists debut set, Thames and Ibiza boat parties and the Republic Artists launch party at Chapeau Rouge in Prague Czech Republic, Republic Artists established themselves as a strong night with solid line ups at each and every event.
Along with Republic Artists residents and friends we welcome a new addition to the deep jackin’ house floor; James Simmons, who recently warmed up for Anil Chawla at MoS and who not only impressed with the promo material he sent to Republic Artists but captured the heart of the crew with his quote “I would sell my kidneys to get a chance to play for Republic Artists”. We also welcome the return of our lost dog Max Sofka who is back after quite a while and not very far from the infamous Fortress Studios where he started out with Tomasuchy aka Thomas Tesla promoting techno parties back in 2005. Good times!
