PIER BUCCI Pier Bucci is on a quest to create his own vision of complex atmospheric rhythms. Much has been written about the recent emergence of Chile as an unexpected source of cutting edge electronica. A brief history of the last ten years show's Pier to be very busy. From the first releases in the late 90's on Dandy Jack's Ruta 5 Austral compilation, four acclaimed e.p.'s and a highly acclaimed album for Crosstown Rebels. CLINT LEE Clint Lee loves a little disturbing behavior; with roots in the richly cultured soil of Africa and a penchant for mind-bending minimal and tribal techno, he entices clubbers to twist in all sorts of distorted array, and has firmly embedded his name in London’s electronic jungle. Clint Lee’s journey into Electronic Dance Music began under the African sun. Growing up to an ethnic beat along the East Coast of Durban, South Africa, in a musically ambitious family; he was destined to find his life rhythm in music. Clint relocated to London, took his animalistic approach to dance music with him and savagely took to the club circuit in early 2001. With his natural attraction to percussive and native sounds, he built a solid repute for beastly bass lines and electronic jungle fever’d sets. Now, over eight years in, his African-inspired, futuristic beatings are in high demand in both London and Ibiza, with regular bookings in the Greater United Kingdom and Europe. Clint has played at some of the biggest club nights in London; with regular appearances for Zombies Ate My Brain, Zombie Soundsystem, Circo Loco, and regular appearances at Zoo Project and Underground in Ibiza since their inception. Guest appearances at some of London’s most solid event nights include, Fervor, Retox, VeryVeryWongIndeed, Mixmag Parties and Jaded, playing alongside some of the biggest names in House and Techno including, Audion, Guido Schneider, Loco Dice, Booka Shade, Stimming, Mathew Johnson, James Holden, Dan Genacia, Gui Boratto, Jamie Jones, Marc Houle, Timo Maas, Steve Bug, Ralph Lawson and Mr C. Clint has also debuted at the TDK and Global Breakthrough festivals in past years which saw him rub shoulders and play records alongside Laurent Garnier, Francois K, Masters at Work and 2 Many Dj's to name a few. Whilst being on tour in Africa a few years back, an important vision came into mind, a vision that would change the path of Clint Lee and our endangered wildlife in years to come. Wildlifestyle, a concept built on experience, dedication and passion. Focused on preserving the fundamentals of lifestyle and living. Wildlife, just one of the elements from Wildlifestyle is an exciting and unique global project that aims to bring a message of awareness about animal cruelty to the culturally diverse and socially extrovert world of clubland, bringing creative artists and performers together in demonstration and encouraging a unified dance for humanism. Wildlifestyle will be taking another wholesome approach in tackling cruelty to animals through electronic music with its very own Wildlife Recordings. With each release being dedicated to a specific species in danger. Clint Lee and production partner Alex Corr will be at the helm of this movement while producing under the alias Chasing Chaos. Their sound offers a melodic balance between tech house and techno with a focus on native influences and tribal rhythms. The result is a pure, landscaped sound with rustic bass lines that are sure to grip the heart of the dancefloor with the best intentions. Keep an eye out for their first track releases coming this summer. 2010 sees Clint’s animalistic sound burst out in all directions; from Tel Aviv to Ibiza and Moscow to Cape Town. This summer Clint will based in Ibiza with guest slots for Mumu and new comers to The White Isle, Warung, who take over Privilege with a stellar line up of guests and residents from the revered Warung Beach Club in Brazil, as well as his annual guest spots at Zoo Project. Wildlife Ibiza launched two summer's ago alongside Zoo Project in the island’s old abandoned zoo and saw support from Monika Kruse, Shonky, Ame, SIS, System of Survival, Anthony Collins and Jose De Davina. Wildlife Ibiza is set to be a highlight on the summer clubbing calendar in Ibiza and Berlin this year. Wildlife Berlin comes to life on the 31st July, hosting the Dream Deeper arena at Dream Berlin with some of the world's most acclaimed artists and Dj's including Claude Von Stroke and Paco Osuna already confirmed. On this date all 30 000 revelers will be asked to wake up and Dream, and Wildlife will stand proudly at the helm of this epic underground movement. Clint Lee is excited to be making his debut appearance at the Berlin Love Parade in July this year. Clint’s ethos is ‘be creative, be yourself and just let go! Something he encourages from behind the box through his sets. From coaxing a shy floor into action, entertaining the partygoers, enlightening the curious, satisfying the whims of the tired and weary, he constantly monitors the energy levels of the crowd at all times. It is this intelligent and conscious approach, merged with his down to earth manner and cool mixing demeanour that makes his dancefloor one to remember! STEF MANNI DJ STEF MANNI HOUSE/HIP-HOP/R`N´B/SOUL Having always had a passion for fashion and the arts, Stef Manni has enjoyed a successful career in the field of music as a D.J and producer. Taking up the piano, violinand music theory at 4, he developed a love of music at an early age and after winning a bursary to Emanuel school, he later went on to study at the guildhall school of music and drama in London. With a background in classical and jazz, it was only a matter of time before Stef became interested in more urban styles of music and in 1993 he began a project with some old school friends, setting up a production company. Combing their talents as D.J’s, M.C’s and dancers, they quickly became aware they were generating more work through their ability to Street/Breakdance, making television appearances for DEF II’s ‘Dance Energy’ and Channel 4’s ‘The Word’ and performing along side KRS1, De La Soul and Flava Flav to name a few. Within a short time Stef began to explore his own talents, making an impact on the central London club scene as a D.J. ANNA KOMPANIETS Body painter artist Anna Kompaniets is an artist and fashion/jewellery/hat designer. She creates wearable and unwearable art.She sees art merely as a term for physical philosophical thought - each object made by her is a manifestation of pure liquid dreams. All dreams are derived from reality, all reality is derived from history, all history is made by actions. Anna has long been a frontier in the ethical and recycled fashion field- trying to make it appealing to a wider audience by make it glamorous. She believes in true beauty which lays in the character of every human being, freedom, peace and equality. Anna was born in Tver, Russia where she studied violin, piano and classical singing since the age of 4 and art since she was 6. She loved writing poetry, making dolls clothes and eventually started making clothes and jewellery for herself when she was 12, after she moved to UK. When she was 16 she interned at a local taylor - Peter M. Ayers who soon started selling her handmade jewellery and handbags; thus Anna realised she did not want to go into the world of opera and theatre, instead understanding her calling as as an artist and a fashion designer. Anna often went back to Russia where she learned classical drawing from her teacher Irina Kyznetsova and researched Russian Orthodox Iconography and traditional crafts. Her love of the portraiture resulted in many portraits and caricatures which she continues to this day. She studied graphics, fine art, fashion and 3d design under tuition of Alan Glover - in this creative period producing large scale paintings, performance art, experimental music, illustrations, theatrical costumes as well continuing to take acting, vocal and piano coaching and selling her jewellery on weekends at Portobello and Camden markets. When Anna came to London to study art at Goldsmiths university she interned for Tatty Devine making jewellery, Vivienne Westwood - handfinishing and patterncutting - Vivienne being a huge role-model who really changed her views on fashion and inspired her to become truly herself; Alexander McQueen - before he died - doing embroidery for this genius provided an unforgettable learning experience; Ada Zanditon - a wonderful ethical designer; Andrew Logan - a sculptor and jeweller extraordinaire, an icon of our time. While studying she also formed the performance art collective Akleriah with her friend Lenka Horakova, did styling and makeup for fashion photographers as well as some TV work. Anna did a lot of work with ethical fashion and won several competitions, did a lot of campaigning. She grew confident in her philosophies and polished her signature style. She decided not to choose between art and fashion instead combining both. ALLA SANDERS artist Photographer I like to work with people. I believe that every person, any age, gender and background, is attractive in own way and me, photographer must find this way. That is why I love to take a set of images, where the same person looks totally different through the pose, facial expression and lighting Sometimes objects create an amazing illusion of a human body. I find this very exciting! So my love to Fashion Photography often brings me to Fine Art Photography. I love all my models with all my heart: any age, gender, background and even not the humans. www.allasanders.com
