  • Outpost 13 22.30 – 23.30 Outpost 13 is comprised of NYC post-punk whiz Stuart Argabright, no waver Mark C, and dub bassist Kent Heine. Argabright is best known as the man behind downtown icons Ike Yard, Death Comet Crew, and Dominatrix. Mark C was the guitarist of angular noise gods Live Skull. And Heine cut is teeth as the bassist for indie stalwarts The Holy Ghost. Together in outpost 13, the trio create ambient, post-punk zero gravity dub with nods to Brian Eno, Joy Division, Massive Attack, Aphex Twin, and Pink Floyd. http://www.myspace.com/outpostnyc Ike Yard 01.00 – 02.00 Ike Yard was founded in 1979 in New York. They recorded for labels like Disques du Crépuscule and Factory Records. After Ike Yard split in 1983, former member Stuart Argabright went to West Berlin where he worked with members of Malaria, DAF & Liaisons Dangereuses. The band reformed as a three piece unit with original members Stuart Argabright, Kenneth Compton and Michael Diekmann in 2007. After a hiatus of 28 years a brand new album (Nord) has been released in 2010. www.myspace.com/ikeyard Different Fountains 00.00 – 01.00 Different Fountains was founded in 2009 by Bernardo Risquez and Michael Langeder after working together on various audiovisual projects since 2006. Their first live show was held at la Cigale, Paris opening for Devendra Banhart with a heavily improvised performance followed by a CD-R demo release and their first EP 'Numbered & Signed' in 2010. They currently live and work in Brussels, Belgium working as part time architects and making installations on the border of pop, art and architecture. Different Fountains is also the name of their self titled label producing attentive handcrafted editions and organizing small studio sessions and jammings at their studio in Brussels. www.differentfountains.com www.myspace.com/tdfcb Gwelmine 21.00 – 22.00 The Gwelmime project was born in 2001 in a small farm of a small village named Henri-Chapelle. Radhia and Robby were playing and recording their ideas, with the help of friends who were passing by. Step by step, the project grew up. The particularity of it is that the vocals are in different languages. The lyrics, written by Boumrah Radhia are in English, Moroccan Arabic, French or even in German... The music, composed by Norbert Weedloaf, contains influences of pop, rock, electro, hip-hop and even classical music. People refer our music to "Trip-hop", but everyone can find a little something in it. http://www.ambivalence.be/gwelmime/ Sensu 00.00 – 02.00 Brussels-based DJ Sensu has for years been one of the voices of the electronic music underground in Belgium. He originally started out as an experimental ambient DJ, but quickly refocused his ambitions, adding club music to his palette. Originally influenced by the Berlin Techno sound of the Nineties, he quickly reached beyond, always choosing a less direct path to get his message across. Avantgarde and modern classical music are still close to his heart, a love often shown in his eclectic DJ sets. Over the last years, he has also been delving into Disco and Industrial music. Sensu has held residencies in Recyclart, Café Belga and Wax Club in Brussels and frequently plays in other venues and cultural centers all over Belgium. Also a promotor in his own right, he is one of the founding members of the Manna and Plain collectives, bringing original and leftfield artists to Belgium, often for the first time. Recently he started his website discontent.be as an umbrella for his DJ and promotor work. http://www.discontent.be/ Brisquez 20.00 – 22.00 Bernardo Risquez is an architect and musician born in Caracas, Venezuela. He first encountered a musical instrument at the age of 10, a typical venezuelan instrument, el cuatro. Since that day he hasn’t stopped making music. Playing in several bands his interests and viewpoint shifted when starting to study architecture. It contributed to a different comprehension of space and time both in his works as an architect and musician. Bernardo moved to Paris in 2009 and later to Brussels where he founded Different Fountains together with Michael Langeder. He currently studies Transmedia in Brussels and works as a DJ and Producer. www.bernardorisquez.com/ Hallo Kosmo 22.00 – 00.00 Hallo Kosmo is the bass player of Belgian band Girls in Hawaii and also heads the Hallo Kosmo band. His Dj sets are intended for those who love to bounce around or rhythmically stand still. From the endless depths of his record crate, he digs up nothing but rumbling, creaking grooves. Slam the world onto a record player and defeat gravity! http://www.hallokosmo.blogspot.com/
