U.S. East Koast recycler Knxwledge is in Europe this month and will be joining us for the next !K Club, woop!
From Philadelphia this young beat-maker has been bubbling beneath the surface in the virtual world and has quickly made it onto the playlists of reverred mixes and podcasts worldwide. Recently featured on Detroit MC Invincible’s “Shapeshifters” and XLR8R magazine, he is a proven standout amongst the new wave beat generation and has been receiving a rapturous reception for his post-Dilla chops and sharp ear for samples.
His captivating sound is a blend of true musicianship of great legends such as Miles Davis and hip-hop breakbeats all wrapped into one. Making his name via Myspace, global mixes and with a Mary Anne Hobbs mix and support from Benji B already under his belt, Knxwledge stepped up to the plate in 2010 with his first solo release on All City – Klouds.

THATBOYTIM (TAKEOVER)
Rounding off the bill is Takeover head honcho and all round nice guy and supa mash up the place dj Thatboytim.
Thatboytim’s love affair with beats kicked off when Chicago and Detroit were ruling the show, leading to his exploration of the sounds of UR and Drexciya. By 2000, Tim was running his own parties, including the “No Way Back” nights, a firm statement of electro-funk in the face of the countless dire house nights in Belfast at the time.
Assisted by cracked software and a hire purchase computer, tim, agent foot and therarelowry built the “Takeover EP”, which was rinsed by the likes of Two Lone Swordsmen, Laurent Garnier and Decal, and four more 12"s swiftly followed.
Tim has played for Bleep, Electric City, Ice9, Compression, Creation, U:Mack, !Kaboogie, Soundstream, Electrotoxic and more, and has a wicked cut out on the now almost sold out KBG001 release.
