Spring 2011 brings Vega Records and Nervous Records full circle with the first of three Volumes for ANANESWORLD Remix Collection EP offering the first set of six remixes. ANANESWORLD REMIX COLLECTION Volume 1 will feature Anane's "PLASTIC PEOPLE" and "TERRA LONGE", two of her smash hit tracks off of the ANANESWORLD full length CD. Both are filled with intricate beats and flowing versus that not only captured the attention of the major djs and producers of our industry but also compelled them to create remixes with the versatile sounds they each possess featured here in VOLUME 1.
"PLASTIC PEOPLE" BrokenDownDub Remix by ADAM RIOS is featured on the ANANESWORLD Remix Collection EP, its a minimal, hard hitting remix that instantly took over the NYC UNDERGROUND dance floors since it's release earlier this month. We are following it up with the multiple remixes featured here on VOLUME 1 including CHARLES WEBSTER and ATJAZZ, two of England's heavy hitters who have been creating music that shakes dance floors around the world to the core have each added their distinct style and individual spin to ANANE's PLASTIC PEOPLE.
CHARLES WEBSTER's "Graceful Vocal Mix, Graceful Dub & Warehouse Dub" takes listeners on a new journey with varying highs and lows, each DUB hones in on the various sounds and instruments within PLASTIC PEOPLE for an aw inspiring experience.
The ATJAZZ Remix, Instrumental Remix, Astro Dub and Astro instrumental Dubs are truly out of this world, utilizing and playing off the strengths of the tracks key elements and twisted style these remixes exude fierce energy with an edge. Anane's TERRA LONGE featured in VOLUME 1 is performed in her native language and captures the essence of her deep Cape Verdian roots, there is an intimacy in the lyrics and vocals of TERRA LONGE, much more than a dance track its an international sound reflecting ANANE's great range and vocal abilities that has kept her music current in an ever changing industry.
TERRA LONGE has inspired remixes from none other than LOUIE VEGA, who having worked on ANANESWORLD full length album has what may be the deepest understanding next to ANANE herself for this music.
Louie Vega EOL Extended Remix with its sexy intro focuses on elements in the track that bring to the surface a refreshing softness that will captivate the masses and have them gliding across the dance floor. The LOUIE VEGA EOL Instrumental Remix of TERRA LONGE is a work of art that gives the music and the instruments themselves a spotlight, something completely different and new that is featured on this VOLUME 1.
ANTONELLO COGHE teamed up with long time friend and producer FILIPE NARCISO to create TERRA LONGE "Dreaming Cabo Remix, and Dreaming Cabo Dub", each mix taking you to different elevations with the sultry vocals of ANANE displaying once again just how diverse this artist is.
ZEPHERAIN SAINT's Remix of "TERRA LOUNGE" brings creative base lines and playful keyboards to this beautiful and smooth piece for a new and fresh sound featured on ANANESWORLD Remix Collection EP. VOLUME 1 will include ZEPHERIN SAINT's "Full Vocal Mix, Vox Dub, Instrumental Dub, Heavy Tribe Vibes Mix, & Drumapella Mixes of "TERRA LOUNGE". BODDHI SATVA has worked closely with ANANE through the years, developing a strong connection to the deeper message and meaning within her music. Understanding and fuzzing the energy of TERRA LONGE with his signature ANCESTRAL sound BODDHI created Ancestral Remix, Ancestrumental Mix, and Beatapella Mix, each combining various parts of the soothing melodic Cape Verdian feel within this track enhancing soul moving beats to create a new sound that will most definitely inspire all!
