From its groundbreaking debut in 2009 to a triumphant sequel in 2010, INTRO has successfully established itself as the pioneering electronic music festival China was crying out for. An annual showcase of the best of China’s thriving electronic music scene, INTRO rallies electronic music lovers around the globe to the pulse of the world’s most exciting emerging electronic mecca.
On May 21-22, 2011, Acupuncture Records will once again welcome and delight over 20,000 music lovers with INTRO 2011 Beijing Electronic Music Festival.
This year’s star-studded festival line-up promises mind-blowing performances from an unprecedented 80-plus artists playing across 3 stages.
Headliners include:
Josh Wink – rave pioneer, No.1 DJ in North America, international household name and founder of legendary label OVUM;
Paul Ritch – young French superstar storming the world with his unstoppable minimal sound;
Okain – Parisian tech house wonder delivering both dancefloor hits and phenomenal DJ sets;
DJ Sodeyama – Japanese techno maestro with a global reputation;
DJ Michael Best & MC Shayon – club icons and standard-bearers of Russia’s stylish, pulsating nightlife;
Jaein (2E Love) and Beejay (Shut Da Mouth) – representing two of South Korea’s hottest electro duos, Jaein and Beejay set dancefloors on fire then watch them burn;
Acupuncture Records artists and other local electronic music heroes will join forces with these international floor-fillers to deliver sets that will live on in myth and memory – raising the bar once again for Beijing’s electronic scene while igniting a flame for the rest of the world to take note.
In D-Park’s 46,000 m² Bauhaus-style plaza, INTRO 2011’s electronic beats will ignite and unite over 20,000 like-minded hearts and souls, sending twice as many arms and legs into a dancing frenzy.
