MIX-O-SOUP meets FLUMO Recordings
Hey guys, it is time again for the next edition of Mix-O-Soup. For the 4th episode we are happy to present one of our favourite labels: Flumo Recordings
We are delighted to have V.Rotz the founder, part-owner and main artist of the Flumo roster.
Back in 1997 V.Rotz quickly emerged out of the electronic music scene & hasn’t looked back.
Now more than ten years later he is still going and doing what he likes most…electronic music.
He has been all over Spain and Portugal playing alongside well-known artists such as Pascal F.E.OS. , Dan Ghenacia, Kiki, Apparat, Glimpse & Konrad Black among others.
V.Rotz has performed live at festivals such as the Electrosplash in Valencia & Net Audio, Barcelona.
His first Beatport track 'Mirto' secured a place in the DeepHouse top ten for two weeks. Since then V.Rotz has released tracks on labels such as Nordik, Neovinyl Recordings & Slant Records. Charted and supported by Italoboyz, Rene Breitbarth, Varoslav, Patrick Zigon & Steve Bug..
In 2009 he embarked on a new project called T.W.I.C.E. with the artist Photoclick. Starting what they called ‘Back to basic’ for Flumo Recordings which has received rave reviews and support from Jim Rivers, Stacy Pullen, Laurent Garnier, Dj Hell & Deetron.. You will also find them on the well-known Hypercolor’s sub-label Losing Suki and for the Spanish underground label Raw Cutz.
Founder and co-owner of the label Flumo Recordings since 2005 he has been busy working on different projects. Last year they launched Flumo Ltd a sub label that utilizes both vinyl and digital formats & they already collaborated with artists Catz N’ Dogz and Justin Drake.
In October 2010 he decided to leave his home in Spain & now lives in London continuing to work of his music & various projects.
